Dentsply Sirona Appoints Bruce Peatey as Group Vice President of Newly Merged Americas RCO
Dentsply Sirona has appointed Bruce Peatey as Group Vice President of its newly formed Americas Regional Commercial Organization (RCO), following a merger of its North America and Latin America RCOs.
Peatey, who joined Dentsply Sirona in 2022 to lead the Asia Pacific (APAC) RCO, brings over 25 years of experience in healthcare, medical devices, and biotechnology. In his new role, he will focus on enhancing employee engagement and driving high-performing teams across the Americas.
Peatey will relocate to Charlotte, N.C., where he plans to engage with employees and customers to identify growth opportunities. Dentsply Sirona’s CEO, Simon Campion, expressed confidence in Peatey’s ability to lead the new region successfully.
Restructuring Plan to Reduce Workforce
The news comes after the company announced in a report on July 29 that its board of directors had approved a restructuring plan aimed at improving operational performance and driving shareholder value. The plan includes a global workforce reduction of approximately 2% to 4% and is expected to result in $80 to $100 million in annual cost savings. The restructuring is anticipated to be completed by the end of 2025.
