POMONA, Calif. – Center for Oral Health has recently earned Gold Participant status from GuideStar USA Inc., the leading source of detailed information on nonprofit organizations. This level demonstrates Center for Oral Health’s (COH) deep commitment to transparency and accountability.

“For Center for Oral Health, inspiring trust and confidence within the community and within the hearts and minds of our donors, partners, and collaborators means everything,” said Dr. Conrado Bárzaga, Executive Director. “That trust must begin with ultimate transparency.”

The Gold Participation Level means that COH has completed GuideStar’s thorough process of information sharing, including financial data and impact reporting, and it has made this information available through GuideStar’s user interface. Less than 1 percent of the nation’s 1.8 million IRS-recognized nonprofit organizations are GuideStar Gold participants.

“This Gold Participant status provides COH’s funders and donors the utmost confidence in our ability to manage their charitable assets with the highest degree of skill and integrity,” said Dr. Bárzaga. “I encourage you to check out our profile on GuideStar to see what we are all about.”

COH is extremely pleased with GuideStar’s recognition and will continue to maintain its high standards as a trusted caretaker of public and private funds to advance the mission of improving oral health, especially of vulnerable populations, through innovation, research, education, and advocacy.

“This is validation to our organization’s commitment to transparency,” said Dr. Jack Dillenberg, Board Chairman of Center for Oral Health.
