Mike SimoneThe Tour de FoxA nationwide expedition to find a cure for Parkinson's disease. On June 2nd, Sam Fox, an extreme athlete with a big vision, will be biking and hiking across the United States. Although it wouldn’t surprise us that Sam would do something like this for kicks, there’s so much more behind his future endeavor. Sam’s mother was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease in 2000. And as you can imagine, it was a devastating blow to him and his loved ones. But unfortunate events didn’t send Sam into a negative spiral. In the past, Sam has run from NYC to the Hamptons in 24 hours. He’s also run the Pacific Crest trail, a grueling feat from Canada to Mexico, all to raise money for cutting-edge research.
