“On any given day, I’d drink at least half a gallon of Gatorade to prepare for it, if not more, and that didn’t include if I had an energy drink,” admits Jon, a Boston sports player.
At 25, Jon has already had two root canals. TWO!
It’s almost an epidemic that we need to make public – drinking water is just as good, if not better for you, while spending so much time out on field or track. Young people are being bombarded with marketing ads – more sugary drinks are showing up in schools and colleges. Water is free, better for you, and it will also help to wash away some of that sugar you’ve already had swishing in your mouth.
